ComputerCraft 1.62

We found some more crash bugs, so had to do another update. This is what happens when you decide to refactor an entire mod from the ground up! Consider that lesson learned. There is one new feature though: “chat” now supports IRC commands!

Downloads:

ComputerCraft 1.62 requires Minecraft version 1.6.4 with an up to date version of Minecraft Forge installed. Once you have Forge, drop the files into your /mods/ directory, and launch Minecraft.

  1. I’m probably a total noob but I have minecraft 1.7.5 and I REALLY want to play computercraft but I can’t download 1.6.4, forge and I probably don’t wouldn’t even know how to install the mod! I really need help… 🙁

      • Yea, I could probably download forge but I need version 1.6.4 for minecraft and I don’t know how to do that!!

          • I’m not quite sure what you mean, but I have made a new profile in the minecraft launcher for 1.6.4 and learned how to install forge off of youtube. 🙂 I’m all good except I need to put the computercraft mod into the mods folder inside of my minecraft folder in my application support folder (there’s a lot of folders), but when I check my application support there’s no minecraft folder! I’m not sure if you understood any of this because i’m using a mac, not sure if you’re a pc guy.

          • Just go into Minecraft, go to the resource packs menu then click open resource packs folder.

          • Yes!!! I finally got it!!!! Took a while but I’m now finally playing computer craft!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

  2. What are the rules about Using this in Modpacks?
I am making a modpack and i want to add this.

  3. Has the issue of the redstone API not working since 1.60 been addressed? Apparently we are using 1.62 in our modpack and noticed that problem. I saw the note of that in the 1.60 release discussion I think was on the message board. It doesn’t look like in 1.62 that redstone.setOutput is doing anything observable.
