I think someone could make an irc for computercraft, this will help for helping people and chatting about everythings :)

You can definitely do this using CCsockets. Take a look at the peripheral available.

This_is actually reverse engineered Espernet so he didn't have to use sockets. This was back on Noodle's hack craft I believe.

mIRC? mIRC is a client, and not a very good one.
