Also, I found one:
'If a chicken says: "All chickens are liars!", is that chicken then telling the truth?'

'A metal neither black nor red', Theres the first hint,
Its a metal.
'As heavy as mans golden greed'
Eh...
We have lots of greed for gold, so...
The metal is heavy.
'What you do to stay ahead'
I have no idea.
'With friend or arrow or steed'
Ehm, friend, arrow, animal..?
Little guess here...
The metal is used to make weapons?
So, a heavy metal 'ey?
Edit: It just came to me...
'Greed' could also refer to 'steal'?
And, to stay ahead you need to steal..? Sounds about right.
And you can steal from a friend, altough the friendship would be over quickly...
Double Edit:
I just goodled 'heavy metals' and found this:
'Other heavy metals such as mercury, plutonium, and lead are toxic metals and their accumulation over time in the bodies of animals can cause serious illness.'
These metals are as you would have guessed heavy, and the animal part may have to do something with it.
Then you have the metals 'Mercury', and that is kind of black, so I'll strike that.
For plutonium I couldnt find a picture... so... meh.
Then there's lead, and here it comes:
A metal niether black nor red Lead is gray, not black.
As heavy as mans golden greed Lead is very heavy.
What you do to stay ahead To stay a head you need to take the 'lead'.
With friend or arrow or steed No idea.
After typing all this, 11 minutes had passed, not bad right?
Triple Edit:
And, as I mentioned before, greed could refer to steal, or... steel?

"With friend or arrow or steed"
Friend: Here I think he is talking about lead as in to have a lead in a competition; You can compete with friends/friendly competitions.
Arrow: Here he is talking about the metal; Some arrows have lead tips
Steed: Lead can also mean leash; You can use a leash to control a horse.
