What brings you down but never up.

Gravity? After all, gravity is what defines down.

You come into a cave with two doors.
Behind one door you find a treasure, behind the other one is just dust.
The doors are guarded by two soldiers, one in front of every door.
One of them always lies, while the other one always tells the truth.
You don't know where the treasure is and you don't know either which soldier tells the truth/lies.
You can only ask one soldier one single question.
What do you have to ask to get the treasure ?

(Yes, I know, riddles like this have been posted already,)

Ask one of the guards "What would the other guard say if I asked what door the treasure is behind?" Then choose the opposite door.

I'm just gonna give this a little push.

What happens twice in a moment,
Once in a minute,
and never in a thousand years?

I know dis.

Ask one does he want to die? and if he says no, then he is the one telling the truth, and if he says yes, well he is lying.
If lair then choose opposite, if truth then choose their door.

Mayonnaise! That's an instrument. I play the mayo.

What doesn't bring you up, down, or really do anything at all to anything, in any way, shape or form?

There was train with the light bulbs broken. There was a man on the railroad. There are no lights on the railroad. The trained stopped right before it hitted the man. How did he know he was there?

It was daytime.

Or, he had light and he knew he was on a train track, depending on if you have awful grammar or if that was intentional.
