since a lot of admins are getting really frustrated with random blurbs, we could POSSIBLY make a "blurb" or "random crap
" sub topic. just an idea

I think a better suggestion is "Stop locking every 'useless post' in General." It's the general section. Post anything and everything related to anything or everything. Right now, the rule seems to be, "Post anything and everything related to anything or everything. Warning, posting anything or everything will result in your topic being locked."

idk what you are talking about. I've never had my post locked in General...
EDIT: Also if you didn't notice its actually only Cranium that has been locking them
None of the other mods do unless it breaks guidelines or has started a flame war.

Cranium's been locking utterly worthless topics to prevent flame wars being started in said topics, as are inevitable. Also, he's the one getting to the topics first, hence why he seems to be the only one.

I have been doing just as Tiin57 said. I am locking topics to prevent flame wars. If the topic is going nowhere, and it is likely that it will only create more negativity and stupidity, I preemptively lock it. Since I am on the forums quite a bit more often than many of the other moderators, then that is why you are seeing mostly me locking them. In the last few days, I have locked topics that don't make sense, still don't make sense, and I remember one particular one from you, LuaEclipser, that was deleted completely because it was trying to look like the spam we had gotten before.
I hope this clears up any confusion as to why things are being locked.
Long story short, if you don't want to get your topic locked, don't make a stupid post that can start some nasty replies.
