I thought about some kind of Ender-Modem, that is way harder to make.

What should it do?
Allowing computers to use rednet over dimensions

Why should this be added?
Because it's useful for programs that run in different dimensions, e.g. Mystcraft, Dimensional Doors, Twilight Forest, ... and if you want something like... monitoring the free item space on computer 1 of the inventory of turtle 2.

This still is a good suggestion that should be implemented into the main mod. I think I recall Cloudy saying that he was going to do it.

Would it have limited range and would that range be effected by the size of the dimension.

For example (given the range is 64)
A computer at 4 4 4 in the over world would have a range of 8 starting from 0.5 4 0.5 in the nether
While a computer in the nether at 4 4 4 would have a range of 512 stating from 32 4 32 in the over world

:-/ obviously it would need some kind of balance, like fuel requirement or something.

In some cases is dose, we are just brain storming after all. Do you have another idea?

I was thinking that the depending on how it increases the range you would have to feed more and more material into it to keep the connection alive.
