Anyway, you need to edit the system and manually move your pending account into the users, and rename it to whatever username you chose. Also edit the file, remove the first line, and make the second line the first one. Save and exit, then reboot and enter your password. A bit hacky, but it works if you, like me, can't figure out how to use the admin override!
