- So The community is quite quiet right now.
So I just came up with something to bring it back up a bit.
What computer/laptop do you have along with your peripherals?
It be nice to see maybe what others have and maybe recommend to see if its good or not.
So what do you have?

I have a HP Envy 17 j020us with:

- CPU: Intel Core i7 4'th Gen
- GPU: Integrated ( Intel HD 4000 (<Pretty Good for an intergrated GPU, accutly.))

Uhm, this might be realy vague, but here goes:

A ASUS laptop with:
-Intel core i3 at 2.27 ghz.
-8 Gigs ram
-Video card is the processor.

A Trust gaming mouse that I love.
A Trust headset, which I mainly use for listening to music.
A Sennheiser Dynamic Microphone which I use every now and then.
A Wacom Bamboo Mini graphical tablet.
A Logitech Devolo so I can have internet in my room.

That is about all, and I get captured in the cables from time to time.

so i can ready up for the next gen games like battlefield 4 and star citizen and some other frostbite 3 and cryengine games it also helps when i do animations and 3d designing but crysis 3 still tanks my machine and so does 3dmark extreme benchmark and running minecraft with shaders for some reason only runs at 48fps

The problem with Minecraft is the fact its through Java. It doesn't have full support for OpenGL (there are some features missing from the OpenGL bindings iirc) , plus you have to remember the OpenGL shaders are written by non-professionals, so they also are very likely not entirely optimized. Though, running on top of the JVM doesn't help its case.

Anyway, I don't have as OP'd of a rig asTr1ton, but mine gets 3D modeling and rendering done without too many hiccups.

operating system: windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
case: coolermaster haf
cpu: intel i5 3570k @ base clock (I'm really wishing I had gotten a non-K edition for advanced virtualization features)
gpu: Nvidia GTX 670 (I'm wanting to get a second one to SLI)
ram: 32GB Corsair @ 1600Mhz
storage: 120GB Crucial SSD (Windows Install), 64GB Sandisk SSD (Linux Install), 1.5TB Western Digital (User Files), 2TB Western Digital (Media Files and Backup)
monitor: 1 22" 1080p monitor, 1 19" monitor (can't remember the resolution)
keyboard: Razer Marauder
mouse: Razer Naga
headset: Razer Banshee (If it wasn't obvious, I particularly like Razer and StarCraft)
Switch: Some generic 1Gb switch

And my server, which was my old desktop:

operating system: VMWare ESXi (running a RHEL Workstation 6 VM and Windows Server 2012 VM purely for network storage)
cpu: AMD A8-3870K
gpu: None
ram: 16GB Corsair @ 1600Mhz
storage: RAID0 (oh no, I'm doing the bad thing! >.>) 1TB (Composed of 3 HDD, for the Windows Share), 120GB Western Digital (For the primary OS virtual disks), 500GB Western Digital (For the RHEL install)
monitor: None (Yay for SSH)
keyboard: None (Yay again for SSH)
Switch: Some generic 1Gb switch (same as the desktop. It's nice being able to move files between my desktop and server at 1Gb)
