I need to get a redstone signal into the nether, but I do not know what item to use for that. I am using the Infinity Engine Pack.
It is a hidden pack on the Technic Launcher.
This is the Url for the pack in the Launcher: http://www.technicpa...infinity-engine
I needed to know what I needed to send a signal into the nether to turn on some engines for a pump.

[See the first reply for the modpack contents so you don't have to download the stupid thing. -L]

Because OP is too much of an idiot to even post the mods list, here it is, for reference:

Modpack Contents

To answer the question, you'd use the Wireless Redstone mod.

That was a little harsh... Anyway, wireless redstone would be the way to go.

It really wasn't. OP gave us a DL link just so we could see the mods list, that was stupid.

I personally recommend Wireless Redstone - Chicken Bones Edition (Google it). But again, you'll need a wireless redstone mod, or a complicated system using the HTTP API to upload the current redstone state to the web and fetch it on the other computer - remember to place a Chunk Loader in the nether. (I can see you have ChickenChucks)

I'm not saying OP was doing anything wrong, but Lyqyd's choice of words could have been better.

If someone is dumb/lazy enough to post a link to a zip file of all the mods instead of just getting a file list, the "harsh" words are well deserved.

Hey..... I could have just said Infinity Engine and left you all clueless. Not all the mods were showing up in the modlist. In the end, you are kind of being much harsher than it sounds. I know it is like an artist using Comic Sans as a good font, but I was just doing what came to mind. Thank you for posting the mod list though, helps everyone else.

but, using the Wireless Transmitter and Receiver works just fine. Thanks for the help you all.
