Finally my dream of a base with a PDA remote will come true (as soon as OpenP updates)

<shameless plug>
For people who've updated, checkout my wireless PDA opening door lock. It may be a door lock, but it's really quick and easy to use.

Good to see this out at last! The wiki should be all updated within 12 hours or so.

Dan, on your Twitter it was mentioned that we might be seeing pocket.vibrate & beep, as those don't seem to have been aded will they be coming in future versions?

Finally! Nice work! Now for all the peripherals I use to update so. I can use them, but still, I'm gonna be using this.

BEST UPDATE EVER! Except for the fact that it's still for 1.6.4. Pardon me for being an amateur, but is this going to be ported to 1.7?

Yes, I believe it will at sometime in the future.

I sure hope you've checked out the bugs recently reported, Dan. It seems several of them are pretty major.
Otherwise, not bad. I hope to see a (relatively) bug free 1.6.1

I know 1.6.1 for 1.6.4 is coming soon - but is there a word on how soon 1.7.2's version will be available? We just set up a 1.7.2 server and I'm in bad need of my turtles! :)

Well, considering 1.7 is a completely new beast from 1.6.x, it may take a while. We've only recently got hold of Forge for 1.7, so don't hold your breath too long.

Forge is quite a while around already for 1.7.2
But it's going to be a lot of patching for Dan for sure, and forge did a major rewrite. So some things still exist and some things are moved around...

Anyway, let Dan first fix the bugs, no? :P

I say let the plethora of bugs be fixed before the port for 1.7!

Thanks for all the effort :).

I was unable to find, if the tools now take damage when equipped and used by turtle and if the vanilla rule about taking extra damage for digging ie. dirt with a pick applies since cc 1.6.

Tools used by a turtle still do not appear to take damage, regardless as to how they're used.

Question, what happened to the mail program shown on twitter? I noticed it didn't make release.

One thing that annoys me is that the "repeat" program doesn't allow you to Terminate (ctrl+t) out of it, although you do state in the program
-- Main loop (terminate to break)
Ironically it uses os.pullEventRaw(), and thus you can't terminate out of it. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, as it does add some small protection for computers that are dedicated repeaters.
