Ahh yeah! I think it'd be cool if you could like make batteries like this -
| i |
-----|-----|----
i | r | i
-----|-----|----
| i |
-----|-----|----
i = Iron Ingot; r = Redstone Dust
And each battery would give power for about, I'd say, 5 days?
Also you'd make a 'Battery' API, with the methods battery.getBatteryLevel() -> returns String batteryLevel
It would be very cool!
Nahh. If this were implemented for pocket computers, it'd have to be implemented for computers and turtles too to be consistent. If you want realistic computers, with more expensive parts, limited RAM, and power draw, etc, you'd be better off with Open Computers.

Just came with some ideas now:
-Limited rednet to pocket computers to simulate Bluetooth;
-Sideways pocket computer(in-game possibility to rotate the pocket computer);
-USB or any kind of serial bus with larger capacity of transferring data/simple strings;
-Other kind of serial bus or ribbon cable(like SATA) so you could use multiple computers as a storage way(computers are larger than disks) and also that would make 2 computers appear as a single 1.
I feel that they might not be coming in upcoming versions.
EDIT: lo, my 123 post!

Have you used the a pocket computers at all? They can be upgraded with wireless modems and you can put them in disk drives to transfer files.

Limited rednet range.. idk if the range is changable by now, but I think it wasn't.. The USB was more for the pocket computer access (advanced) computers. But the sideways pocket computer is still a good idea I think
