In regards to all the EULA shenanigans going on over the last few months, there's a lot of info to read out there. Go through just about any part of it, and you'll find someone posting a contradiction right afterwards.
The one thing I know for sure is that there's a lot of childish behaviour going on, and a fair bit of it is coming from people I feel should know better. No, I'm not
just talking about all the "drama" that pops up around each new event - I'm talking about the instigators. Even if they've got justifiable goals in mind, seems to me their methods have all the subtly and tact of a blunt-force instrument to the face.
It's getting to the point where I feel like Mojang should just respond by putting out a press release which displays thusly:
... then get on with their job - which is provide fun for their player base.
But that's not the world we live in. Mojang have to tidy up their legal paperwork because that's what the system requires them to do. Then they have to tidy up after the babies throwing their toys out of the pram, because, well, that's what's required when you run a daycare center.
And Mojang have got one heck of a daycare center going.
