this morning when i "fired" up the computer, on a server i played on,
i noticed that the "placement" of the text on both the computer and monitor is "off" by a little

i dont know why or what it isdoing it. but i think it looks quite "bad"

does anyone know a "solution" for this??

This is usually either triggered by a custom texture pack or by OptiFine.

use the Soartex texture pack, and havent had the problem before..

i've just tried deactivate it. that didnt help
so tried removing it entirely. that seemed to help..

It's only triggered if you start MineCraft with the custom pack enabled. It's only fixed by restarting MineCraft with the default pack enabled.

you can still use the Soartex texture pack if you wish, you just have to replace the font that they provide with a monospaced font so that ComputerCraft functions correctly.

If you want to make this work the easy way, you can revert back to the default minecraft font textures. Go into your texture pack, go to assets>minecraft>fonts, and delete that entire folder.that should revert all of your fonts - chat, signs, computers - back to the default minecraft font.
