Hey guys, we have some new applications on the way which will allow you to use the website to chat on the server. So on the server we have the /mail function, this is now synced with a database, so you can know, use the website to access messages, and reply/delete. The website isn't finished completely but it is nearly there :D.

We also have a special surprise for some of the other users, due to a few useful donations we have got a new surprise in stock! Be prepared, will be live on the weekend :D

Mod pack links have been removed. Please remove any mods from the pack that are included in violation of their licenses, and provide proof of permission for those mods that require it.

Are you doing this to everyone's mod pack then?

As you can see above, please go to the website, the link is on there, will get permission when I can... Although I don't see it being a problem, but I shall check it now...

Any of them that I notice or that are reported, as I have time and energy to do so. The rules are clear, we've just (unfortunately) been lax on enforcement lately. We'd prefer if server owners were responsible and put in the effort to ensure their packs follow the rules.

Fair enough, may I ask which mods you found need licenses? So I can go through and do this...? Also where would you like me to show you proof when I have got them?

Most people put proof in OP. Any where visible is probably good.

Where you have to give credit to the mod author.

I know of at least one, but again, it is your responsibility to proactively check each and every mod's license. Proof of permission goes in the first post in the topic.

There seems to have been a bit of confusion--proof of permission is only for mods which do not allow redistribution without permission. You can still link to all of the mods' licenses, but only those ones are required.

I suggest getting the coreprotect plugin. It will log most blocks broken (some mods don't log stuff), and will help manage griefs such as that.

Just go onto the modded server and type; "/pl" for plugins as I can't remember them off the top of my head? As I want to set permissions individually?

I would suggest the groupmanager plugin for permissions, but another popular one is PermissionsEx. If you choose to use groupmanager I can help you set up groups and permissions.

That's awesome, yeah I shall have a look and install, although I shall wait until you are online or skypable etc etc, so you can teach me xD because last time I installed it, no one could do anything xD
I am normally on the server around 10pm to 12am (GMT 0 - London), I am not on long in the week as work :P Weekend I do try and come on for a bit :D. Although even when I check the logs I can never see you on xD

Guys as a question to all the players of the server, if we update some of the mods like chisel and a new few ones we are planning for the survival world reset?
A new spawn and everything?:D What are your thoughts :D

Instead of resetting the entire world we can also make a portal at spawn that leads to a new world or just a part of the world very far away that hasn't been generated. That way we can have the new ores and generated structures without having to undo everything.
