If you are begging for the old world to be put on, then no, it isn't a choice, it had a load of bugs and was using 3.GB of RAM to load it, to which it would then crash, so I am sorry but we had to change the world otherwise we wouldn't have a server.

guys I was thinking of making an arena for battles and stuff? What was your idea? So this arena will have like presets... And it will be controlled by a computer, and you guys can design the arena obstacles and they get saved In the computer and idk, after playing with thaumcraft, I would love to do something like this, if you are interested, Give me a PM and we can start building xD

please add galacticraft! i think whenever you have a community server, it would be great to colonize space, because you can setup businesses, and factories there. also...you can fly a freikin' space ship

edit: also, please add sg craft! this is a very cool, and balanced mod, and im assuming you know what it does. i don't mind if you don't add this, but i really hope you add galacticraft.

I PM'd Danny some time ago, and he didn't respond. Paultiem said on the server that most of the mods crash the server. I already PM'd Danny with the possible fix, but again, he didn't respond.

Edit: yes, I know that Danny is always busy, so don't blame me :P

Galacticraft is broken, we had it installed and it crashed the server every time we saved the world, it is a broken mod, otherwise it would be awesome! Plus we have SGCraft installed.

Yeah, it's complicated to install, because it has a weird dependency system. And if it doesn't like the current version of some mod, it crashes (isn't Microsoft the author of this mod? :P). This happens because GalsctiCraft's API-integration-thingy with other mods is broken. I had a wrong version of IC2 installed, and it crashed on loading the world.

I have an obscure mod installed I don't know the name of, but it has an OC integration. But when connecting the peripheral on a network, it BSOD's all the computers on that network.

alot of times when the server is put under strain, the server will just crash and not come back for a while.

The server was never under strain? Worked completely fine, but when the server attempted to save the hash iterator for the map saving errored due to GC being broken.

Btw, a Forge version change resolves most of the problems. If you're using Forge#14xx, then that's why most of the mods crash. If you're using Forge#12xx, then that's why some of the mods are unstable. Forge#1351 ftw :P
(Note: The number I'm talking about is the build number, and it's the last number in the version string (10.13.2.1351 in my case))

The server does not run forge, it runs cauldron and until a new update for cauldron is available we can't...

That doesn't mean it's completely useless. MCEdit or deleting the broken chunks manually could still retrieve some chunks out of it.

Honestly given 30 minutes with the world and my custom plugin chances are I could remove any corrupted BLOCKS, but corruption is a very vague way to describe it. For example on my server my world was "corrupted", but this corruption wasnt 1 or 2 blocks crashing the server. Instead it was entire chunks missing along with a computer file that no longer worked. There is a point where it just isn't worth trying.
