I am impossible, I underestimated Gandhi's teaching skills today.

I know that's not it, but I have no idea, so it's my attempt. :P my brain is bad at figuring things out without context. Here's an easy one:

H t t c o. T m. T r. T t. T r p i t s h.

I a i, I u G t s t.

I am insane, laughing under George's tin safety tarp.

H t t c o. T m. T r. T t. T r p i t s h.

Hither to thus come onions. Tomato mist. Tarantula rot. Tea Totaller. This really pushes insanity to silly heights.

EDIT: I'm going to let these simmer over night and see what I come up with...

Oh, come on. A capital G, without any other context surrounding it, should in itself provide plenty of context in that I'd expect you guys to be able to work it out. How many proper-nouns beginning with G are common enough that I'd use them here? ;P

Speaking of, BIT's one is trivial with it, though I don't see how it's supposed to be solvable without it (excepting fore-knowledge of the quote in concern).

I a i, I u G t s t.

I admit it, I used Google to solve this.

H t t c o. T m. T r. T t. T r p i t s h.

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes.

I, t, h t u G.

Context: poem

...t w w a, w a; O e t o h h, M w b t a f, b s i w T s, t s, t f, a n t y.

Good job, much better than 'Hither to thus come onions. Tomato mist. Tarantula rot. Tea Totaller. This really pushes insanity to silly heights.' :P

Oh come on, I thought that first one was much more creative. ;)

Context: poem

...t w w a, w a; O e t o h h, M w b t a f, b s i w T s, t s, t f, a n t y.

... that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Quote

P, I t i i m f t m u q. M i h t c!

Please, I think it is more fun to make up quotes. Make it hard to crack!

Y a r. Q a r e t f...a u s i c m c. Y, u, f t s s I u t v t q b p.

EDIT: Made an unnecessary correction, then corrected it :P

I can only get up to the ... :(

You are right. Quotes are really easy to find...

I don't know any more than that, and my brain can't get into the mindset of others :(

is that next a, supposed to be lowercase?

The ellipsis could be removed and the 'a' could be capitalized - but it's really a continuation of the same thought. I don't expect this one to be easy as BB said make it hard to crack; so I 'typed' closer to the way I type or talk (thus the ellipsis at the beginning and the comma splice in the last sentence).

I have a difficult time figuring them out as well (I seem to be terrible at context), but this is an interesting and challenging experiment.

Just to make sure, these are complete words, no u's and r's in there right?

Correct - the only single letter words are actual single letter words (like 'a' or 'I')

But you don't have the single-letter world "a" in there!

"a u s i c m c" has got me pretty well stumped. I suppose figuring out "c m c" is the key to it.

Y, u, f t s s I u t v t q b p: Y?, u?, found the same site I used to verify the quote b? p?

Or could that snippet be "something-something I used the vowels to something-something"? I think my first guess is closer to the truth of it, but I'll have to work on it...

There is a single-letter word 'a' in there - just not in the part you've figured out :P As for the part you're stumped on, I think figuring out the second word would really help get the gist of it. You've pretty much got the first part, but I'll wait to see what you come up with before I put it out there :)
