1.33 Client / 1.33 Server

I noticed that if I destroyed a computer, it doesn't give me back the computer I was working on unless I set the computer label.

To reproduce the bug, have two computers placed, one with a label, the other without, and just destroy them. One will have the label on the item tooltip when you look at it in your inventory, the other will only be the one you get when you first craft it.

I also had a mod called Mine Colony VRc19, Too Many Items 2012-04-13, and a mod called Cart Mod V1.2.1

That's the intended behaviour. Only labeled computers can be retrieved, unlabeled computers will be lost when destroyed.
Not sure why, but that's how it is.

Meaning? You lose the computer id if you don't have it labeled, but you keep the comp id if you do?

Yes, that's exactly how it works. It might be changed in a future update, but for now just label all your computers.

Whoa, you can do that? Cool. I just tried it, at least I don't loose PCs anymore, but, using SPC I managed to make two identical computers. I now have two working on the same root folder :P/>

Yes, you can do the same with NEI, or just being in creative. Not sure of the problems it might cause.

Problems? I make two computers with synced folders. It's like dropbox! :P/>

And what happens with rednet? Both computers have the same id, so you can't send messages between them or to one of them.

You can't tell one computer to quit everything..
Without quitting them both

Not really
They're independant, but have shared files. It works fine.

I'd like to point out that even in cases where you destroyed a computer in-game, and appeared to lose everything, the files aren't lost completely: they can be be found in your singleplayer cache, or they will be found in a subfolder of the multiplayer server (assuming you or someone you know has access to the server's filesystem)

The folders are simply numbers from 0 up. All the files of computer id#3 will be found in folder 3, even after computer #3 was long since destroyed.
