Hi,

We would like to use an external editor for writing some programs. But whenever you place a turtle it gets a new ID and this causes a whole bunch of file management stuff. We were not able to find out if there is a constant location where programs can be placed which would then be available to all computers except by modifying the jar file.

If you label the turtles/computers, they won't change IDs when you pick them up and move them and thus, no data will be "lost".
