Will flinches at the axe and steps backward, only to find he is nearly at the arena's edge. Will uses a few quick, sharp chords, causing a small stone fling it towards the bears back. Hoping the distraction will buy him enough time. Since he is running out of directions to travel, the bard chooses to play a cheerful, uplifting song with a catchy beat, causing him to slowly float above Nico.

"You better hurry if you want to catch me, a few more second and from here I'll be free" taunts Will, in tune with the song. Meanwhile he thinks "I hope he cannot reach me up here, lets drop in the center where I have less to fear"

[OOC]Did you seriously make a pun? I'm going to have to end you now.[/OOC]
Ripping his axe from the ground, Nico runs towards to the center of the arena. Nearing his opponent, he leaps into the air, driving his axe in an underhanded swing to try to knock Will from the air.

[OOC]Yes, I stand by my pun. It was a good pun![/OOC]
Will suddenly moves his legs up then stops playing, causing him to dive to the side of the axe and land in a small roll, though he drops his lute in the process

Overbalanced from his wild swing, Nico lands on his back in a whuff of expelled breath. Dazed, he rolls over, and tries to catch his breath again. Leaving his axe behind, and still gasping for air, the bear rushes forward, stepping on Will's lute as he runs forward. A discordant TWANG sounds through the arena as the instrument shatters, followed by a roar as one of the wooden shards embeds itself in the foot of the heavy animal. Clutching his injured foot and still dazed from the hard landing, Nico stumbles, and falls into a long roll that takes him out of the arena and crashing through the judge's stand.

Will stands up, ready to counter, then notices there no longer is a bear in the arena, though looking around he finds the bear at the (new former) judges stand. He walks over, noticing Nico's foot, and says to him "Let me remove from your foot that shard, walking with it in there would be quite hard"

In the temple, The Scribam spots a strange shadow moving between two pillars. "It may be very good to speed up our work here. I wouldn't like to hang around." he says to the group.

[OOC] Edit: Has this died? [/OOC]

[OOC] Sorry, Uni work has been causing me problems, any free time I've had has not been where creativity has been on the brain.

I'm starting to consider passing the torch of GM to someone else. (Or maybe I'll give you guys more narrative control so I only have to nudge rather than being the main story driver).[/OOC]

Standing up from the wooden rubble of what was the judges stand, one of the officiators remarks to his peers. "Well I guess the show is over until we can repair the judging stands." He then gives a small cough and speaks in a louder voice. "Due to recent damages, we are postponing the rest of the tournament till tomorrow. We will be starting at the same time as we did today, I hope you all enjoyed your time."

Meanwhile, Father James replies. "Are you suspecting that you have been followed? If so then it may be best for you to make haste, we don't have much but I'll try to gather some supplies for you."

"I'm not sure, but I feel something is in here with us." The Scribam replies, glancing nervously at the dark corners of the temple.

"I'm impressed bard." David says looking from the doorway of the medical tent, most of his armour has been replaced with bandages. "Almost makes me want to learn some magic, healing spells are starting to sound useful." He gestures with his good arm to the other which is carried in a sling.

He fumbles with a pouch on his belt, and buries his hand in it. "As promised, consider it payment towards a new... whatever that instrument was." He presents ten sliver to you.

-----------

Father James begins to leave the room. "I'll go gather those supplies."

The younger priest leaves too. "There's nothing I can do here, I may as well make myself useful elsewhere."

Only the part of the group who are visiting Sandwich remain in the room.

"You should visit my homeland sometime then, I could teach you a bit of magic should we meet there again." replies William before he begins to walk back to the inn.

"Feeling any better?" The Scribam asks Sandwich, moving closer.
[OOC] It may be good to leave the city so the story can progress further. [/OOC]

"It's not much, but I'm sure you'll find some use for it." Father James says while carrying two backpacks, one on his shoulder and the other in his hands. "We don't have any food which will keep so I gathered some general tools: rope, torches, cooking utensils... You get the idea."

He lays the backpacks on the floor, opening one and removing a vial of dark liquid. "I even added a few oils for your armours and a sharpening stone for your blades. They are blessed by Tueri which should make your equipment more effective for you." He returns the vial of oil to the pack.

[OOC]

The wiki is ready for characters, so please port yourself.

If you go to https://github.com/C...ayer-Characters and click on your character's name, it will create the page with the correct name for you.

You will also need to follow the instructions on this page: https://github.com/C...racter-Template

OP Edit: add above in some form and updating links to point to wiki (the ones in google drive should be broken by now)
OP Edit: add implied greetings (rule 11)
OP Edit: change rule 8 (OOC stuff)

My OP edits are staring to look like git commits, the worrying thing is that these are better named than my git commits

I am not in the game, I just have a few questions.
1. Is this topic dead? There hasn't been a post in over a month
2. I have been paying close attention to some of the players, where did Arcum/CaosTECH go?
