This appears to be broken in the latest CC beta (1.80pr1) due to this pull request (sorry). I've put together a modified texture for those interested.

Thanks, I could've sworn I'd tested it since then, but I'd sorta been relying on Airwaves server-side updates for a while, so I guess it slipped by me. I've posted a fresh resource pack in the OP.
On a side note, Minecraft's resource pack system is a tad annoying in that you can't seem to simply mark a pack as compatible with "any" version. This is a bit of a nuisance, considering that these packs deal with ComputerCraft's resources, and the various versions of ComputerCraft are compatible with various versions of Minecraft.

Does this mean that the size of the CC window is doubled, too? Oooooooooh

No, it just means that the fake pixels use more real pixels. CC programs use fake pixels and so can't take advantage of this. In fact CC programs can't detect the difference.

That said, the size of the CC window (and your inventory windows) enlarges according to the size of your main Minecraft window. It's not a relative percentage of the window size, but rather it goes up in steps. This way of resizing doesn't let you cram more characters in either, though.
Prior to CC 1.6, ComputerCraft let you add more text rows/columns to displays via its config file. After that build, external monitors are really your only option for getting more "dots".

I am requesting for permission to use your font within in my mods for various lua-powered terminals and interfaces, I will credit.

Hmm. I'm not sure I can say yes to that. It's a modification of Don's font, and although he's given permission to re-use his ComputerCraft assets for ComputerCraft stuff, those permissions don't extend to other mods, to my understanding.
