I would Love to play my 1.9 server with my little Turtle friends.
and have been lurking the website and forums for a month now.

Anybody actively updating CC to 1.9?

I always program one with hoppers and a disk station but... you get the idea

You pretty much summed it up, Minecraft Forge is not ready for 1.9, so there's no point in actively working on an update yet.

Without Forge for 1.9, forge mods are not going to update to 1.9, so... Yeah. Go bug the forge people.

Forge for 1.9 has been out for a bit over a week now, and to my limited understanding, updating mods from 1.8.9 to 1.9 is a lot simpler than going from, say, 1.7.10 to 1.8 was.

So it might be that we'll see a port sooner rather than later. It all depends on how much time Dan has to put towards it.

Well as Bomb bloke pointed out it is.
not saying it should already be done by now *again just asking*
it takes time make a diamond (and alot of pressure *just joking*)
I would love to make a CC only server server

I have a deticated server @home (2x Xeon quadcore 16 treads and 72GB of ram)
i used to have a public 64slot skyfactory server but I closed it down.
