Hello there,
I know it and you know it:
The new chars between 129-159!
I thought, it would be nice to get the x-coordinate and the y-coordinate of the char, to allow more precisely interaction with the computer.

Here are some examples:
  • The paint program could be extended, to draw better images.
  • You may can create 3x3 pixel buttons
  • You can create smaller menus
  • ...

I would love this feature!

While i don't think that would happen, would be cool if it got added in.

This probably wont happen as the programmer should keep track of what they're doing with char's. if i create a char at 5,10, if i want to check more info on it later, i can save it to a table or variable and grab coordinates later.

This was a suggestion for the teletext characters. It would make it to where the mouse_click event returns where on the character the user clicked, instead of just the coordinates.

I have seen this suggestion a few times before, and although I couldn't find the thread, I remember someone posting a technical reason for why this would likely not be implemented. It would be a useful feature though.
