I wanted to create a program that would allow all kinds of control from reactors, lights, doors, and some other things. It would be controllable by using a Gui on a monitor but I haven't got a clue on how to even use Lua let alone make a full blown Gui that controls multiple things with Redstone. Help or the program would be greatly appreciated.

Shameless plug: Sounds like WiRe is similar to what you are looking for. However, it does require a computer at each light/door/machine/etc. you want to control.

In case you don't want to use dog's (amazing) program, I would advise you to use Lyqyd's touchpoint api.
It's faily easy to code in!

PM me if you need any help.
