It's fairly possible now, considering redstone is a thing. Just wondering if anyone knows if this can be done, if anyone has plans to do it or if it is in the works? Just an idea that some people may consider - I don't even have MC:PE but could be fun for those who do play it.

The issue is, the Behavior Pack system is not a real modding API. All it lets you do is mess with mobs and the like. This is why BlockLauncher hasn't died out yet. ModPE (and BlockLauncher by extension) allow for somewhat real mods, but Javascript probably isn't best for a ComputerCraft-like mod.

:P I think it's very possible, though, as you say, there would be quite the many hurdles. Chunk loading would be another, as MC:PE I believe would have a smaller chunk loading limit, being on a smartphone.
