I tried to install plethora but got this error:
Posted Image

So installing peripheral mods does not seem to work on the computer I use at school nor the computer I use at home. Peripheral mods work on my 1.7.10 installation, but not my 1.12 installation

Am I doing something wrong?

That error rather implies you don't have computercraft installed. Can you post the full log?

At a guess, as you're running in a development environment, the ComputerCraft version will be ${VERSION} instead of something sensible. You could try running through the runClient Gradle task or just using a compiled version of the mod in a normal environment.

Ok, I will try runclient
Edit: wait, I think their is like a file that contains info about the mode, so if I edit that...

RunClient works, though I don't see any new blocks from the mod

Edit: it doesn't even list the mod

Oh, you're running under 1.12: Plethora requires 1.12.2.

Loads fine for me. The only important-looking differences between our setups is that my Forge is more up to date (14.23.2.2641 vs your 14.23.2.2611), and you're trying to load OpenComputers as well.

That error shouldn't even be possible: that method should be stripped by Forge. Can you try running outside a development environment, to see if that fixes it?

Nope, only got 1.7.10 as far as nondev goes

BTW, I've tried it with CC1.8pr0 (Doesn't crash, just errors), CC1.8pr1, and CCTweaked (Both crash)

Installing a later build isn't exactly tricky.

MCEdu. Dumb because it is way out of date.

Can't you, you know, just use an actual Minecraft and Forge installation?
