If a mod edits your post and provides a reason, and then you modify your post, it will look as if the reason is the reason why you edit the post, which is really weird... Perhaps get rid of the dialogue if it gets modified again.

I know the full editor doesn't provide anybody with the "reason for edit" field, but do you guys not see it in the quick editor? I know I've gotten into the habit of bypassing it completely by middle-clicking edit links.

It is in a field that is not available to non-moderators, which is one reason I typically avoid using it in favor of documenting the reason in the post itself. Of course, if my name isn't tied to the latest edit on a post, don't assume that any note that appears to be from me was completely written by me!
