I have a disk drive in slot 5 of my turtle, and I set the turtles slot to be 5, but when I use "turtle.place()" it places down dirt (in my 1st and 2nd slot) instead of the drive. Could someone help?

If this is on 1.3, then it's a bug. It can't be fixed. If turtles can't place a block on that version, they select a different slot, and place it instead. I encountered this with torches.
It was fixed in 1.4, or is thought to be. If you are getting it on 1.4, and your circumstances are repeatable, post it in "Bugs."
Tekkit(SMP) is on 1.3, Technic(SSP) is on 1.4, in case you didn't know.
