Whenever I use a CC computer/emulator, I'll install LyqydOS, the mouse-based file browser, some APIs that I typically use such as the graphics tag and some old APIs from RedWorks, then I'll develop and use my computer to host an internet system. I was wondering, what do you guys do to your computers, and what do you use them for?
The second question, has anyone thought about standardizing computers for non-programmers, or people who arn't good with the CMD-Line systems? Perhaps the LyqydOS+Graphical Browser like I use?
What do you do to and use a computer for? Also, non-programmer computers?

Programmable computers for Minecraft
Like for example, I could ask you "Why do you watch Youtube?".
You'll probably just answer "Because it's fun and enjoying!". That's our reason too.

I use my computers to test the software I program outside of game. Then, if it works, I install it on all the computers in the town on my server. Right now, I'm testing a RDS (Remote Data Storage) host and if it works, I might publish it. My last achievement was fax machines/wireless printers. It was somewhat less buggy than my RDS Host...
On public computers: I plan to have a few in the town square of my town with a repo of applications to use (Note: My program can run files by downloading them, running them and deleting them (Also, edit will be disabled))

I use my ingame computers to make software. That's pretty much it.
I leave the actual usage to everyone else.

I make the 2 most overused things in ComputerCraft: password doors and operating systems.

However, I'm very intrigued by advanced rednet, and I might start an e-mail server soon. I know there are a few out there, but I wanna make my own.
P.S. New sig, you like?
