Hello forum!

I've search for a similar question but couldn't find any, so i'm opening this thread.

Can computers communicated with each other through mystcraft ages? What I would like to setup is a server message board where players (where ever they are) could open their computer to see the latest MOTD from the admins.

Thanks in advance.

Sadly, unless you set up some sort of multidimenstional rednet peripheral, this is not possible D: I tried it with the nether...

Mystcraft portals allow you to send items. Perhaps you could store the message on a disk and send it to the other world?

pruby's suggestion might work.
lua allows you to write to files.
Have it eject the disk.
But you'll need to look at another mod to get the disk back inside the drive of the other computer.
Once you get it in another drive, you can have the receiving system update it's message upon receiving an event upon disk insertion.
And of course you have to think on how to get that disk back, or shipped off to the next world.

Call it disknet :P/>
(it feels like a tokenring-network)

Turtles can drop items, suck them up and place items into inventories.. So you got all you need in CC.
