[1.31] Function that hides the terminal

Either that, or a function that changes the terminal resolution at runtime. Remote-controlling turtles and other devices is rather infeasible if you cannot see what's going on. And if you change your terminal size, other functionality will be reduced.

good idea

in the mean time you can hook up a either a series of buttons and switches or a giant ddr pad to work as a remote control for your turtles

that's actually one of the things I had in mind when I made the suggestion for remotes, RC trurtles ftw

This is needed even more now with the monitors being hidden while on the computer... There either needs to be a function, or a key to use the monitor... There's only one more issue I have with the monitors, and that's no API to use them... there wouldn't be many functions with what we can do now. but it would be really nice to have just a few to get creative with programming...

not only hide, but also re-size would be neat,
think about it. If you have an big monitor for output, why do you still need a big terminal window?
It would be neat if you could re-size it with the program itself.
