Yes. It's an unfortunate change, but hopefully temporary. We're having to re-work the way we interact with BC slightly, so proper buildcraft support should reappear in the next version. Very sorry about that. :)

Found an error. Sensorview auto quits if the sensor is on the back of the computer.

EDIT #1: Ok it seems to be doing it on ALL sides... I'm using OCS 0.1.3 and I am trying to use the Mk4 Tank sensor card.

When did you download 0.1.3? I uploading a fix a couple of hours after i first released it, so:

Try downloading a fresh copy and trying again. If that fails, it'd be really handy if you could let me know what tank blocks are near the sensor and what liquids are in them.

thanks

Just grabbed a fresh copy and it is still quitting the moment I try and select the sensor.

I have several BC tanks of fuel along with a couple of combustion engines near the sensor.

Struggling to recreate this one. All seems to be working as expected.

Which version of forge are you using? Which version of buildcraft? Are you using any mod packs, or is it a custom pack you've put together?

Guys, for future reference, these details would be really helpful when reporting a bug, it'll make it far easier for me to track down an issue and get it fixed quickly.

1) Which card are you using?
2) What tier of card?
3) Exactly which machines are surrounding the sensor? Use a small range card to try help discover what machine is causing the issue
4) Which version of OCS / Forge are you on, and which version of the relevant mod? (Buildcraft, whatever)
5) Can you help work out what's causing the issue by trying different scenarios, such as trying it when there's no fuel in a machine?
6) Are you in single player or multiplayer?

If I can't replicate a bug myself, it's very difficult to get a fix out for it. :)

Forge 6.6.0.497 & MC 1.4.7
BC 3.3.0
I'm using a custom mod pack with about 30 mods in it.

Just tested other levels of the tank card and I think it is messing up when it tries to check the BC engines. It is picking the tanks up just fine at MK1 but the moment I go to a MK2 tank card it starts quitting on me

the different ranges have identical code, so I'm guessing you have a machine just outside of the range of the mk1 tank that is causing the issue. Can you tell me what machine it is?

Screenshot of the crash? There should be an error in the CC console.

I've just checked OCS with exactly the same buildcraft and forge version as you, using the latest OCS download - using a tank sensor surrounded by both buildcraft tanks and combustion engines containing fuel.

Please take a screen grab of your exact set-up.

Did any changes come through the Lua side between those versions? Perhaps jewelshisen should try deleting the /mods/ocslua folder?

Just did that and it is still doing it.

No error message or code. Just goes right back to the prompt.

The issue appears to be caused by the pipes you're using.

I'll try fix it and release 0.1.3-r1

Ok. I'm using the gold waterproof pipes and a single wooden waterproof under each fuel tank

If it helps at all I can try and record a video of the error so you can see what I am seeing.
