Is there some place on the wiki (or somewhere publicly available) that defines the range of the various sensor cards?

As a relative newbie, I've struggled to find any info on what the different 'mk' versions mean. I've only just discovered today that they alter the range the sensor can read from.

Perhaps its intentional that the user discovers this by trying them out?

The Card Upgrades section of the original post in this topic contains the information you are looking for. http://www.computerc...-openccsensors/

hello,

very nice mod but it stopped working for me with latest FTB (Direwolf20 Pack).

when running the testprogramm from the 1st post getTargets() freezes the program

edit:
i removed "Direwolf20/minecraft/mods/OCSLua/" in the FTB dir and the mod is working again.

Thank you for the help with my problem!
I had to remove this folder from the server and then I copied a new one from the mods .zip file. I guess it was not replaced when i upgraded OCS.

Huh. Weird, for some reason the boldface note (about needing to delete that folder) right next to the download link disappeared from the OP.

OpenCCSensors 0.1.3 appears to have crashed my FTB Direwolf20 server. Should I post the complete crashlog here, link to it off site or not bother? :)

Hmm. I've managed to replicate the crash by destroying a computer attached to an IC2 sensor while it's running a program that grabs data from it.

edit/ hmm.. managed to crash the server again without destroying the computer. This time I just tried to reboot a machine running the same program. The runtime exception given each time is "You are not attached to this computer." The program itself works and seems to run fine.

As its a very small prog, here is the code:

iam not a CC expert but your program runs in an infinite loop with no sleep or whatsoever. it may eat up all resources, or am i wrong?

I've not been able to crash an entire server before by running an infinite loop with no sleeps. The CC computer has crashed, but no worse than that. Either way, it's desirable that CC doesn't crash a server no matter what the user does in game.

It could be a result of something in the sensors mod not gracefully exiting when the user kills an infinite no sleep loop though, so you could be on to something there. I'll add a sleep(1) and report back when I get the chance.

Here is the latest crashlog:

Spoiler

Every time (done it at least 5) I kill the program I posted, with reboot or destroying the computer, it crashes the server. It crashes even with sleep(1) in the infinite loop.

It appears as though if OCS tries to throw an "error" event when a computer gets broken, it crashes.

OCS works entirely through an event based system - it looks like it gets upset if there's nowhere for it to send the error to.

This will be fixed in tomorrows release. :)

Just to note, I caused the server crash at least a couple of times simply by rebooting, rather than destroying the CC computer that was running the program. Hope this still fits in with your idea of what causes the problem! Good luck with the release.

Hi, i run on OCS 0.1.3-r1 and it seems that the inventory sensor can't handle Barrels from Factorization.

They are 2 Stacks + 20 in the Barrel, but the sensor shows up 1 Stack and a empty 2nd slot.

Did i miss something?
