Well, it clearly doesn't for me.
I'm thinking about not using this mod anymore, even though it would make things a lot easier.

Toying with the idea of a chat sensor. I wonder if it'd be OP.

It could definitely have its uses, though.

It could be restricted to range

I love this idea and think it would be great.

Doesn't TMI also have recipe viewer built in it as well? if it doesn't go pick-up craft guide. it is nothing but a recipe viewer mod.

Is there a 1.4.7 version that supports the Power Sensors... Really want this but it's not much use to me with the 1.4c version. Can't update my server to 1.5.1 either :(

1.4.7 has an IC2 sensor card and a buildcraft sensor card.

You don't get it, there is no recipe and no item.
I search sensor cards and gauges and I can't find them, neither does the recipe work. Redownloading and installing again didn't work, also.

Tested this using OpenCCSensors 0.1.4c with minecraft 1.4.7 and forge 6.6.2.534, and it worked 100% as expected.

If you're having issues, please post full details of what version of forge and computercraft you're using, as well as a full server log and a list of the mods you've got installed.

it sounds to me like you've just not installed the mod correctly and have an ID conflict somewhere that you didn't notice, therefore the items aren't working.

delete your OCS config file and delete the OCSLua folder in your mods folder then try again. All the stuff should be in the CC tab in creative.

Well, first time I installed the mod, I got some ID conflicts indeed, but changing the IDS didn't work. I also followed the instructions correctly. If the sensor peripheral recipe works, and Minecraft didn't crash, then I assume it's installed correctly. I'm going to make a list of what I have and post it next.

Doing that made everything appear in the tab, however the crafting recipes are still not working. I think I'm gonna take these items from creative, and delete the items that are necessary to craft them. Thanks for solving the problem.

Hello, I am a bit of a noob and was wondering where I could get some help. I want to make a simple program that just detects items in a chest. I just need a tutorial on how I would do this as I have looked everywhere and it seems than nobody gives anything more than basic information on how to use openccsensors. Im probably wrong and if someone could point me in the right direction I would be really grateful. Thanks

An idea that just occurred to me - what about a farm sensorcard? It's definitely possible to sense when a crop is at full growth (ThaumCraft and MFR both come to mind) - hooking that into CC would allow for automatically triggering an auto-harvest mechanism when all/most of the farm in a given area is ripe, or guiding a turtle to harvest and replant on the go.

Range is a bit of a concern. On the one hand, farms are normally large structures; on the other, if they're being harvested as soon as they're ready, they'd be much more efficient than a farm that's left to its own devices and just harvested occasionally. I suppose the usual block sensor radius would make the most sense...

Crops is something i've been thinking about doing for quite a while, just haven't gotten round to do it. I'll experiment with it and if it's any good I'll add a crop sensor to the next release. :)

I am working on migrating my world from minecraft 1.4.7 to minecraft 1.5.1.

I am getting a client crash when my player enters an area that uses OpenCC Sensors.

1.4.7 world versions:
Forge 6.6.2.534
CC: 1.5
OpenCCSensors: 0.1.4b

1.5.1 world versions:
Forge 7.7.1.652
CC: 1.52
OpenCCSensors: 0.1.5c

The full crash long can be found here: http://pastebin.com/cvpUPyPQ

I am quite impressed with the way they captured the spirit and intention of the upgrade item textures. Looks good!
