I am working on migrating my world from minecraft 1.4.7 to minecraft 1.5.1.

I am getting a client crash when my player enters an area that uses OpenCC Sensors.

1.4.7 world versions:
Forge 6.6.2.534
CC: 1.5
OpenCCSensors: 0.1.4b

1.5.1 world versions:
Forge 7.7.1.652
CC: 1.52
OpenCCSensors: 0.1.5c

The full crash long can be found here: http://pastebin.com/cvpUPyPQ

Really sorry about that. It's an issue that only happens when upgrading from the old version. It's trying to load an item with a damage value that no longer exists in the new version of OCS.

I'll try make sure this doesn't happen in the next release of OCS, however, for the time being try this workaround:

Try changing the Item ID of the sensor card in OCS.cfg. If I'm right, it should wipe out the sensor cards when it tries to load them up. Once they're all wiped out, you should be able to switch back to the old itemID after, to stop users needing to update their configs.

Of course, if you do this make sure you back-up the world first.

Alternatively, wait until I get around to releasing a new version which'll fix the issue - It'll hopefully be this week, but I can't guarantee when it'll be ready.

Great mod. Most stuff works fine :)
Only biggie I found is that whenever I use a sensor that access (including Gauge) IC2 stuff I get crash.
I'm using build 307 of IC2_lf and openccsensors 0.1.5e
I guess the question is what version of IC2 API is it built with?

Sigh.. well it works with 304. No doubt IC2 have changed something again in IC2.

I'll take a look at it this weekend. Sorry about this guys.

Guys, can you provide me with a crash log?

Also, is this single player or multiplayer?

Are you sure you're using the 0.1.5e version of OpenCCSensors? The crash report looks very much like a 0.1.5c crash report..

I am using the 0.1.5e version. Same problem as I have tested it with 304 and in 307 of IC2. It never created a crash log as it locks up the server and my client. Neither of which has a log. Its a pretty sever issue because I literally have to reboot both computers, take the OpenCCSensors out of the server.. run the server.. then shut the server down, add OpenCC back into the mods, and turn the server back on before I can get back in. I have not tried it in single player yet.

You are correct. I was using 0.1.4c goodness knows where that came from.
Some mix-up with MMC and my zillions of instances i think.
ah well. fixed now.
Thanks

Ok Abiz, glad that's sorted

TorakTu, it could be a 0.1.5e SMP-only issue. I'll take a look today.

TorakTu, still unable to replicate here. Using the latest forge, latest IC2, latest OCS, latest CC.

Any extra info you can supply would be a huge help - a list of which other mods you're using, any information (screen grab?) about whats in the area surrounding the sensor...etc..

Today I just updated 2 mods as well as Minecraft Server to the 1.5.2. I was hoping that would fix it. I had to take out sensors and gregtech mod until the ComputerCraft mod itself can be fixed to work with 1.5.2. I posted it in the bugs section. I was able to get 3 log reports off that crash. Once ComputerCraft is fixed, then I'll try your mod and hope that it will work too. Until then, I can't do anything until CC gets updated.

If anyones interested, in the most recently released OCS and Railcraft, the Iron and Steel tanks can be detected by the tank sensor. It detects the 'valves', and can give you tank info from that.

Aye, it will ;) I haven't done a release for that yet.

We're going to have to either move to another creative tab or make our own..

A few things to add to the tank to-do list:

Ender Tanks
Xycraft multi-tanks
GregTech? Quantum Tanks

I promise I'll get up to speed on java one of these days. :)
