KREOS Orbit 2.1 - © 2012 - 2013 kornichen

The Revolution has just started

What is KREOS?
KREOS is maybe the most innovative Operating System for Computer Craft. You can browse your files with the Mouse File Browser, draw pictures with NPaintPro, write texts with TACO and visit websites with FireWolf. You can also customize the design: Select your own picture that you have drawed in NPaintPro as wallpaper and select one of many screensavers or change the colors of the GUI.

What are the features of KREOS?
Spoiler

How do I use it?
Using KREOS is so easy that you can't believe it: Only download it and reboot your computer and it will start when you turn your computer on automatically.

All code is made by my self and I have talked to the developer of NDF OS and we would create a mix of our systems ;)

@tom2018 Yeah - I will look at your E-Mail client to morrow because it is 21:08 (9:08 PM) here in germany.
@GravityScore I will implementate Firewolf in the next version.

@tom2018 VisualKorn will be a program that you can use to create graphical programs easily.

And the best feature in the new version: A GRAPHICAL APPSTORE! :D/>

  • Screensavers (can be changed in the new config).
Please send me your ideas or programs that I am allowed to use in the OS!

if you wish you may use my screensaver api :) link to my api page can be found in my signature. it has different display modes, currently 5 more will be added soon (a little quicker if there are any that you want specifically) it also allows for login required and hashed logins. :) of course if you want to do your own login you can easily tell my API not to require login.

EDIT: I also have a version API that you can use to push out updates if the user has the HTTP API enabled. if you wish to use it :)

its not just you, theres a while true do statement for the login input fields thats not yielding, I dont think he defined the input params to initiate user input

just comment out the entire login section of the /kreos/sys file and you'll be good to go

Hello!

I've fixed the problem with login.
Please do the following steps to fix it:
  • Enter delete /kreos/config
  • Enter pastebin get zCABGvsi /kreos/config
And the problem is fixed!
And if you download the OS now via the installer, the problem is also fixed ;)

Best regards,
kornichen

Edit: I have found another bug: You cannot open the control panel. I will fix it now.
Edit 2: Now all bugs are fixed ;)

This does, indeed, look a lot like NDF-OS. That's not necessarily a bad thing, because the things you promise to add will give its own spin to it.

I did find a bug with color selection: some texts in the OS will change color but some texts remain cyan. Hope you could fix this.

Good OS, sad that the forums are flooded with them.
