I have always thought that being able to get the Minecraft day would be handy. Using something like os.day(). I feel this would allow a program to say run once every Minecraft week, and then if the user didn't turn on the computer it would still be able to say "it's been over a week" and still perform the task.

I know an alternative is to get the time and count the days, but what if the computer isn't on, it can't count them then. So I feel this could be a nice little addition.
