#164318 If you won 10 million dollars, what would you do?

Posted by Final Approach on 09 February 2014 - 06:59 AM in General

I searched for a house,
I found it at 63m HK$, 8.1m US$, 6.34M Euro,
So... If I have 10M euro... I would buy it.
Housing is a HUGE Problem here in hong kong.

Also, I will buy an Airplane.a Cessna? it's something like 100,000...
6,340,000+100,000 = 6440000...
I will add more

#164316 If you won 10 million dollars, what would you do?

Posted by Final Approach on 09 February 2014 - 06:42 AM in General

If you're talking about US Dollars...
US$1 = HK$7.8
US$10M = HK$78M...
Euro...
1 euro = 10 HK$
10M euro = 100M HK$
If you're talking about my local currency...
HK$1 = HK$1
HK$10M = HK$10M
I need to reply according to it.

You can port CC to MCPE :D/>... wait... can you?
Nope. MCPE has absolutely no relation to regular minecraft besides name, developer and textures. From a code point of view they are entirely different. Specifically MCPE is a set of C++ libraries, an Objective-C (iOS) or Dalvik (Android) frontend then simply calls into these libraries to run the game, no code relation between regular minecraft at all.

It might have minecraft in the title and look like minecraft, but its very different underneath.
Actually I know all that.
We can: 1. Make a "Java to C++" so that we can compile forge and CC for C++
2. Make a CC for C++ then directly install it

I think you should add in Wired Cable support instead of Rednet support, to help with lag problems on the server.

Agreed, it is also much more secure.
I would make 2 of them.

#163097 My Plan for a program: YADL(Yet another door lock) READ THE WHOLE THREAD!

Posted by Final Approach on 02 February 2014 - 09:36 AM in General

This isn't a noob password door lock...
This is...
An advanced password door lock
monitor support (Password Pad)(Not done)
A Physhical "Smart Card"(Floppy)Door lock(Not done)
A Door lock that requires manual toggle in the computer(Not done)
Rednet (Wired ( Not done) or wireless(Not done)) Compatible, so you can Put a monitor on the door and have the computer in your bedroom
5. Advanced Computers(Not done) OR Normal Computers (No Touch interface)(Not done)
6.Request More features to add!
Very Awesome huh?
If I finish this, I will request this to be added in treasure disks.

Plan and progress
Functions:
Password "API"
password.read()
password.write()
password.check()
password.change()
Smart Card API
smart.readID()
smart.saveID()
smart.readContent()
smart.SaveContent
smart.matchcontent
smart.matchid()

#163056 http.post and handles

Posted by Final Approach on 01 February 2014 - 11:17 PM in Ask a Pro

What about now?
function pastebin.post(devkey,user,pass)
resp = http.post(
"http://pastebin.com/api/api-login.php","api_dev_key="..devkey.."&api_user_name="..user.."&api_user_pass="..pass
)
usrkey = resp.readAll()
return usrkey
end

#163055 Compile a program

Posted by Final Approach on 01 February 2014 - 11:15 PM in Forum Games

function gamerule ()
if you == the_person_who_finishes_the_code then
able_to_make_idea = true
elseif you == person_who_posts_after_the_person_who_finishes_the_code and that_people_didnt_give_idea then  able_to_make_idea = true
else able_to_make_idea = false
end
(if you finished the code then you can make another idea, if you didn't, the person after you MUST make a idea, or else you cannot.)

You code a program together.
each one give 1-3 lines of code.
BTW, keep it simple.
for example:
First post
Make a password lock!
print("Password lock")
Second:
password = bacon
pwd-input = io.read()

Third:
if pwd-input = input then
print ("Correct")
sleep(1.5)
else

My Idea: Number-Guessing game
print("Number Guessing game")

It wouldn't be the response code, it would be in the actual response. I was pointing out existing code so that you could use it as a reference, to see how it works in existing, working code. Nothing about that means that you can't "code it [your] way". For reference, Cranium's implementation looks vaguely thus, stripping out some of the extraneous things:

local response = http.post(
	"http://pastebin.com/api/api_login.php",
	"api_dev_key="..devKey.."&"..
	"api_user_name="..textutils.urlEncode(username).."&"..
	"api_user_password="..textutils.urlEncode(password)
	)

local userKey = response.readAll()

Note that it has nothing to do with the getResponseCode call.
Umm... so you mean it returns a value and you use it directly as a variable?

#163012 http.post and handles

how do I use http.post?
for pastebin, will this work?
I want it to login and return a user-key.
devkey = 033ab381c6c51fab106c0317a8ee91a6
function login(user,password)
h = http.post("http://pastebin.com/api/api_login.php/","api_dev_key="..devkey.."&api_user_name="..user.."&api_user_password="..password)
userkey = h.getResponseCode()
return userkey
end
