I wish for HackNet to be updated.

Granted, but it's now for System 1.

I wish I can wish without wishing wishes.

Granted. Your wish came true in the middle of your sentence, while you were wishing your wish.

I wish for all of the other manure to leave me.
Granted, but urine follows you.

I wish the guy below would be Jiloacom.

Thanks guys for all the input, I've updated the program and the OP to include what you've wanted. You can sandbox OSes from HTTP and Rednet now by changing this in the BIOS SETUP (Press 's' when the boot screen displays), and a skeleton version called PocketGRUB is available. More requests for features are more than welcome.

Quick question: HOW ON EARTH DID YOU SANDBOX?
I have overridden the fs functions with my own that prevent accessing anything outside it's own folder. The only other sandbox is HTTP and Rednet, but that is user-changeable.
so... you made custom fs apis but how do you overwrite it?

EDIT: PAGECLAIM :D

A new rednet repeater block is not cheaper than running a program on existing blocks.
But why so much?

Granted, but I was too confused by what you just said and ended up granting the wrong wish.

I wish ComputerCraft had a version for 1.7.4, and was in a completely working condition, with all of the features it currently has, no more features and no less, and even worked in multiplayer.
Granted, that would be Beta 1.7.4, a patch that was internal.
I wish the guy above was not confused.

Granted, but they all end up getting corrupted.

I wish I had a working time machine that didn't ruin the present when you travel to the past.
granted, but the time machine can only travel further and further in time, so that when you go to the future there's no going back and it corrupts the time continuum. Also, you can't travel to the past.

I wish this wish will not be wished while wishing another wish about wishing a wish to wish a wish that grants the ability to wish wishes about wishing.

EDIT: I know this is confusing.

Or using break:

I told you I need to exit the loop outside the loop

Eh, what? You can't stop your program from somewhere else in itself, code that isn't executed simply doesn't do anything.

Or am I misunderstanding what you mean?

I mean:
function fn1()
 print("doSomething")
end

function fn2()
 fn1()
 fn3()
end

function fn3()
 -- Exit
end
function loop()
-- the main program
end
loop()

View Posttheoriginalbit, on 12 August 2014 - 03:48 AM, said:

programs are run in Lua as functions, meaning that if you design your program correctly you can return out of it. if you don't, or its just too difficult to do so, use error, using error with no arguments will exit your program with no output to the user. do not use shell.exit, this does exactly what it says, it exists the shell program, which yes inherently exits your program, but is not a good way to do it!
so...
function exit()
-- exit thing
end
function loop()
while true do
  -- do looping stuff
end
end
loop()
What should be in exit()? error()?

This may be a little late, but you can use break to exit a loop, or return to exit a function.
I know it, but I am outside a loop, so I am using another variable.
