My best theory on why the judging is taking long is that they're still testing SolidEngine :P/>

What server are the judges judging the programs on? Is it on a server?? And can we watch the judging?

No it's just in single player. Due to timezone differences, people having stuff to do and the huge number of entires it'd just be impossible to coordinate that.

Just as a reference for the next CCJam, I'd like to propose the following rules to make judging quicker and easier. One of the main reasons that judging is taking so long is that the vast majority of programs haveno instructions as to how to use it which is incredibly frustrating when there are a dozen of them.
  • All programs MUST have a description and instructions on the GitHub readme. Without these they will not be judged. Half the time I had no idea what the program was meant to do or how to get it to do anything.
  • All programs MUST be uploaded to a GitHub repo.
  • Bug fixed should be committed directly to master, not to other branches, or it should be make very clear in the readme where the latest version is.
  • All libraries should come with demos. Judges will not (unless they really want to) create their own programs with it to test.
In essence, you should make it as easy as possible for us to judge your program. With 18 entries we can't be spending an hour trying to get each program working. Quite honestly, if I haven't been able to get a program working in the first 5 minutes I simply don't bother judging it. We shouldn't have to chase you up to figure out how to use it.

Saying something once in a post or on Gitter does not mean that the judges saw it. Everything should be contained in the repo.

Those are some good guidelines Oeed.
I feel a bit bad for the judges.
Can the README.md link to the forum topic of the project like I did?

Yes it is, and very fun to hack.

But the judges really need to hurry up.

Yes it's been way too long, next time we're going to need to entirely change the way judging works.

The single thing were waiting on is one judge on one program they couldn't really get working, with luck it'll be in the next 24 - 48 hours.

Just had a look at some of the winners, I loved them! Congratulations to everyone who took part.
Especially loved the ammount of programs using the new drawing characters to amazing effect, I was worried nobody would bother using them when I added them :P
