I'm trying to make video tutorial's but I can't find a decent program. I've tried:

Cam Studio - The keys mess up like they are stuck on the keyboard while recording.
ezvid - has an opening (made by ezvid) i dislike.
blueberry flashback express - too choppy. I'm using an new Alienware. It shouldn't do that.
Rylstim Screen Recorder - crashes at start up
Webinaria - the video and sound get synchronized

What do you use?

I enjoyed Open Broadcaster Software the short time I used it with Starcraft. It's popular in that community anyway. http://obsproject.com/

For my videos I use Fraps, but sometimes there's a progressive lag between the sound and the video (correcteable with VirtualDub i.e.).

I recommend Apowersoft's Free Screen Recorder. It works great and I've had no problems with it. As far as I know, they don't even offer a paid version of this software, so you don't have to deal with limited recording time or watermarks.

Open Broadcaster Software is pretty good in my opinion. It's free, supports recording to file and streaming, and is pretty easy and quick to configure for your needs.

I paid for a copy of Fraps a long long time ago... The paid version has no issues with audio - mismatch.

They keep updating it and I get a free update to the newest version.

(I bought it for use on windows 98) wow thats a long time ago now I think about it. hehe.

Fraps. Just fraps. I haven't seen any better programs out there for screen recording.

I think it's not a story about that (I've paid it too), but maybe drivers or this s*it with the name "Windows 8" (don't hurt me !).

So tempting to hurt you.
I see no point in turning this into a Windows8 war though, it would be off topic.
