Sorry, my brother posted that. Anyways, we didn't take any screenshots, and when we restarted MC it went away. We're unable to reproduce too, sorry!

Edit: Happened to my brother again xD

Try turning off custom fonts in your video settings.

But... I like the Shpax font! Way better than the default.

In your options>video settings, there is a place where you can disable custom fonts. I'm not sure where exactly, but you should be able to find an option for custom fonts.

EDIT: I do want to point out that if by removing custom fonts resolves the issue, you will have to take it up with the fine people at BdCraft to fix the issue.

I've been having this problem too. You fix it by launching the game with the default texture pack. If you launch with any other pack selected, it does this.

It looks like the tweaked FixedWidthFontRenderer (still used?) doesn't share your appreciation for Sphax textures anyway, if I'm not mistaken it also calculated the font-metrics (size and layout of characters) using some pretty 'delightful' margin detection. I'm going out on a limb here, and saying the renderer isn't producing the visibly correct metric data - and in fact, I don't think it actually ever has with custom fonts but I've not (or can't remember) trying them.

The only thing you can do is disable the custom font; computers aren't the same without the default font - and that font doesn't break the renderer.

I get this problem as well, even when I used the default texture pack. I don't think it's the HD texture pack that's the problem.

If you could post a screenshot of your game, that would be helpful.

Images can be posted in image BBCode tags. To do this, simply upload the image to a image hosting site, such as imgur, photobucket, or anywhere else. Then, in your post, put the URL of the image in tags, such as this: [img]your URL here[/img]

Um... sorry for the mistake. I launched my Minecraft with the default texture pack and tested the computers a second time, just to make sure. The letters were aligned perfectly. I then proceeded to switch to an HD texture pack, and saw this bug again. It appears I was wrong, it was the HD texture pack. However, do you think you could edit the mod to support HD texture packs? That would be nice.

Well, I can't say for sure, but it's highly unlikely that we will add support for the texture packs, as it's already available to implement proper support for CC compatibility from the texture pack owners.
