I also love "Pop rock" (F.O.B, the Killers, Kaiser Chiefs (I think), etc.), that has always been a favorite of mine
To say that an entire genre is all rubbish just because the most popular songs in that genre are rubbish is, in my opinion, a bit naive... Some of today's "modern pop" is still good, the genre is just infested with no-talent celebrities.

I also like blues/jazz, it goes well with how I behave in general(chilled, relevant). See this, for example, one of my favorite songs:

Some music I like
Ow and the ending sequence to the matrix is also something i like. I was playing assassins creed brother hood and the matrix at the same time. the trailer for that game looks even more epic with matrix music as backing.
As you can tell from the list I like a wide range of songs from no specific genera or group. I tent to let songs individually speak fro the selves with our writing them off based of genera or the band that made them.

16,446,070?
It's still not their most known song, I think that goes to slam or Watercolor
Blood sugar, is an AWESOME song (the full version) as well as Propane nightmares
EDIT #1:
Oh yeah, Linkin park are kinda old now but they are still really good
There was this one song by Breaking Benjamin (blow me away) which was kinda similar to Linkin park, that was an epic song but I didn't really like anything else he made...
EDIT #2:
Also, I have recently been listening to "Baba Yetu" way too much, but that's an awesome song (main song from Civ4, won a grammy) and "Build that wall" from Bastion is epic, it only seems to sound good to people who have played the game though, I at least didn't like it until I had finished the game
