[OOC] Just thought it would be worth mentioning, I will be making unannounced edits to character sheets (mainly putting the name of the god in your faith field when I give the god a name). I encourage you to check your character sheet at least every now and then, if I make a change that you don't like then PM me about it. [/OOC]

Nico comes into the inn through the front door, carrying a large deer over his shoulder.
"Hah, you lazy cubs are just waking up? I was up hours ago hunting for my stay." He brings the deer to the kitchen, while the innkeeper directs him where to put the kill. After taking his share of the meat in trade for cooked meat and stewed potatoes, he brings his massive platter to the group and sits down for a hearty breakfast.
Tearing into a large hunk of flesh, he addresses the adventurers, "So, have you any ideas of where this temple might be? I could not see anything in the forests nearby, so it must be farther into the forest."
[OOC]As a side note, since Nico was raised in the wild, he only has a tenuous grasp of table manners. Watching him eat is...interesting, to say the least.[/OOC]

He then looks as the bear rips the deer to shreds...
"Aye... Ok then... Its gonna be somewhere hidden... Mountains are preferred over forests, should they exist."

Pulse warps in through a dimensional portal: "I was searching the caves of this dimension, and I haven't found anything yet."

"Hmm, maybe I shall help... but I'm gonna need something unique to the deity, did the dead necromancer leave anything?"

[OOC] Other than dust which is now scattered in the wind, the necromancer left nothing. [/OOC]

"Well do not count on me, I know nothing of magic." Nico says as he tears another massive mouthful from the flank of meat, talking with his maw dripping with juices.

He continues to watch as the bear just goes through the meat.
"So um... Do you need a fork... or anything?"
He then sarcastically smiles.

"Perhaps we return to the graveyard?" replies Matthias "Since necromancers cannot hide their aura, wouldn't a little be lingering there from the summoning? If not, at least we might find a clue we missed in the night"

Returning to the graveyard, it is as it was left; graves are open with mounds of dirt at their edges, rusty armoured corpses lay on the ground with equally rusty weapons nearby. Once again the smell is almost overpowering, unsettling everyone's recent breakfast.

Recasting the detect magic spell, all is metaphorically quiet. The residue from the necromancers dark spells last night hums faintly.

"Not much is left here... maybe we should look in the mounds?"

Sifting through the dirt beside a randomly selected grave yields nothing but your own dirty hands.

Before being able to try another, strange noises can be heard from the nearby forest. The forest monsters, which you heard rumours of yesterday, return to your minds.

He then casts a life detection spell to see if he can see the monsters.

Several moving shapes are highlighted to you by your spell deep in the forest, they are about the size of Nico and use their fore-limbs and hind-limbs to walk.

Using your natural eyes again, you can see that they have dark fur masking them in the shadows of the forest.

The creatures seem unaware of their observers, as they forage around the forest floor.

Using his naturally(and slightly un-naturally) heightened animal senses, Nico tests the air to determine if these animals are natural or not, and using his improved sight, attempts to determine if these are harmless or vicious.

Sniffing the air you discover that these creatures smell like wolves from your home dimension, now that you have this knowledge they do appear to be large wolves.

One of the large wolf like creatures raises its nose in your direction, the others notice you too.

"Wolves? Well, they are in the forest and most likely won't charge at us..."

"Still, wolves have been known to be territorial. I suppose as long as we don't get too close, they'll leave us alone."
