"Hmm, Perhaps I may be of assistance, should the wolf allow me?"

The alpha watches you cautiously, but otherwise makes no moves. The wounded female lies down on her good side, while standing she is clearly in pain. The two that assisted her take a few steps back. The rest of the pack (3 more wolves) are watching.

"Seek evil? When heal, follow." The alpha says to Nico with his eyes still on the elven mage.

"Well, lets see if this works..."
He then conjures up a potion of healing, and drops a few drops into the wound.
He then conjures up a cloth to cover the wound and casts a spell on it, so when the wound was healed, it would simply disintegrate.
"This is the best I can do, for I am not a cleric. I hope this helps, my friend."

She sniffs the cloth, and then wobbly stands. Her two escorts rush to her side to brace her.

The alpha approaches the mage, and then licks the wolf blood off his fingertips. Without using your ears, you are sure that you heard the wolf say "Thank. Follow."
He trots into the forest, two more barks sends all but him and one other pack member deeper into the shadows of the trees.

The alpha's companion is clearly a fighter as he has several scars; most notable of which is one which runs over his left eye, which must be blind as he narrowly dodges low branches.

The alpha leads the group deeper into the forest, checking over his shoulder regularly.

"Hmm. Talking animals are not common throughout the dimensions I travel through. I might've been able to help if I'd practiced inverse pulsing."

"Talking animals is not all too uncommon, I tend to see them more often than animals that don't talk. Besides, We did good in front of the gods and the druids."

"Mayhaps not too uncommon in this dimension, but in others, you don't really see animals that talk."

[OOC] Sorry for the recent delays, I've got family visiting. Also if any of you guys have story/plot ideas, I will welcome them in a PM, they don't have to be related to the current plot. [/OOC]

The pair of great-wolves lead our group to a ruined tower in a small clearing. Only the bottom two floors remain standing, the top one is without a roof and most of it's walls (now held together by the moss and ivy which replaced it's crumbling mortar). The dark clouds overhead gives the tower an ominous presence as candle light leaks from the empty window frames.

The alpha great-wolf stops at the edge of the clearing, he turns to face the group again. "Evil here. Wolf follow for short time, thank heal."

"Thank you for your assistance in finding the altar."

[OOC]
Sorry guys, I have been caught by unexpected events.
[/OOC]
"Aye, we must get moving. If they are here, we can catch them. If not, we can destroy their connection with Libitina."

"Magnetic fields ARE my specialty. Let me try this."
*Pulse casts a field to distort the magnetic field around each person so it will show them as invisible.*
"I need absolute focus for this, it's a VERY consuming spell."

"Then let me take off the heat for you."
He then casts an invisibility spell.
"That was the last of the ingredients I needed to cast this spell. Use it wisely."

Everyone who is affected by the spells sees their vision blur slightly as Pulse and Jacob both redirect light around everyone's bodies. Looking at each other reveals the external effect, while still you have near perfect invisibility. Movement however causes a slight shimmer which increases in magnitude if you move quickly.

With your new stealth, you slowly and carefully approach the tower; foot sized patches of bent blades of grass follow faintly shimmering figures. Skirting round the base of the stone structure, you soon find the doorway, the door having long rotted off its rusty hinges lies on the inside on the tower. Looking up reveals the floorboards of the room above, they too are very rotten and look too weak to hold up a winters snow (never mind the mass of the fallen tower that they now support).

As for the floor you now stand on, that too is made from rotting wood. On the opposite side from the fallen door is another door, although this one is designed to reside in the floor. On the side where the trap-door meets the wall of the tower is a large padlock, unlike the metal hinges of the main door this padlock is not covered in rust.

He whispers. "A padlock... Pulse, can you open it? I'm afraid my spells will draw too much attention"

"Oh, come on now"
Nico grips the lock, and simply yanks it from it's hasp in a violence of ripping iron.
"Oh, it seems to be unlocked. That is very helpful."

"Great. You probably woke up everyone in there. So much for stealth."
He then opens the door slowly and listens for movement.

[OOC] Just had a PM from a non-player who wanted to send in a suggestion. To other people who are not playing: if you want to send a story/plot suggestion then feel free to do so (via a PM). Suggestions are not just limited to players, readers are allowed to give ideas too. [/OOC]
