Will plays a quick song to slow himself down, then walks up to Tom and raises his hand to shake. "Good fight my friend, you proved a worthy opponent right unto the end." he says.

Tom ignores Will's hand, waving off the attendants at the infirmary as he walked past.

Will walks to the announcer booth and asks "What happens now that I won? Is there another battle that must be done?"

A small, almost indistinguishable sound is heard. As it grows louder, it becomes more and more apparent that the now repetitive sounds are very familiar sounds to many within the group. As they draw nearer and louder, those of the group who might now be looking upwards in confusion of this noise see a human figure, seemingly popping in and out of existence through circular-shaped rifts in space. In an instant, after gathering speed, the figure shoots himself down to ground by pointing one of these rifts downwards, scarcely catching himself in mid-air using a downwards-pointing EMP and floating notably above the ground.
"Sheesh, you guys certainly were hard to find!" Pulse exclaimed, "What did I miss?" He ends by cancelling the EMP, dropping safely to the ground.

After visiting his 'starting point' in the woods from many years ago, The Scribam is searching for adventure after hearing of a fighting tournament in the village of Vingara. Taking his true form, he enters the city.

"Next match we've decided to tag team some people. Nico and Arcum, against David and Lynda" The announcer bellows. The same David from several matches ago gets up again, grabbing his axe as he approaches the arena. From another corner of the pavilion is a small robed woman with a book on her belt.

In response to Wills question, the announcer says. "There will be other matches, you will fight in some of them. Eventually there will be one winner."

the two time streams are nearly resynced, once the battle is started feel free to interrupt. Just not too soon.

@LightMystic, quite a few of the 'old crew' have retired, the players have new characters.

If we end up waiting for the two contesting players for a too much longer then I will take temporary control of the contestant characters.
Mentioning temporary character control, I have an idea that I want to experiment... more on that when the battle starts though. [/OOC]

The Scribam takes notice of the battle preparation, seeing the two teams. "Who are these people getting ready to fight?"

Nico grabs his axe, reluctantly wrapping thick cloth around the blade as he moves to the arena.

Like the others before them, the opponents offer their hands to shake, as is customary in the tournament.
