David swings his axe down to block Nico's blow, though not fast enough to properly block as the force of Nico's swing knocks David's axe out of his hand, additionally knocking David off balance.

A commotion rushes past the pavilion where the tournament is taking place, a brass sphere follows the rushing crowd.

"You going to be fine. We are taking you to a cleric." A voice says loud and clearly from within the crowd.

Will sneaks off towards the crowd and approaches the spear. "Maxris, is that you? I was hoping to meet up again with you two." he says. He then looks briefly through the crowd and asks "Where is your small ally? You know, purple hair and bright blue eyes."

"Yes, but this is not good! The "Shadow" struck Sandwich down... I wasn't fast enough to stop him...
I'm afraid his wounds might be infected, not with disease, but with magic... I cannot be certain though.
Come on, lets get him to the cleric, quickly!"
She continues forward to the church.

Will rushes along behind Maxris, finding her different voice to be strange, but not worth bringing up at this time.

[OOC]I think church would be correct as clerics are of a religious order. Anyways, I would like to take Will to church within this story for... reasons involving loud music.[/OOC]

While not paying attention, Lynda is cut with the dagger and turns around surprised, not being able to do anything as she has lost.
(The cut drew blood)

[OOC]I think it is still going on, Will just left as he was not in the match, and I assume Lupus was mainly resyncing the timelines (since the open play thing leaves others to make battle moves). Last action with the match was post 762.[/OOC]

Lynda walks out of the arena, a disappointed look on her face.

David staggers but manages to stay on his feet. He fumbles for his backup weapon, a scimitar with a large blade and a heavy pummel. Wielding it with both hand, he swings at Nico's left side.

Meanwhile, Sandwich is carried into the temple of Tueri. And is immediately taken by the priests to a small back room. After Sandwich is carried across the door, one of the priest blocks the crowd which has followed in.

"Everyone out. We will need our space to do the work of Tueri." The door man speaks loudly. When the crowd doesn't move he repeats himself with calm vigour. "OUT! NOW!"

With the crowd dissipating, it is easily seen that Sandwich is extremely pale, colour seems to be drained even from nir hair and clothes.

Nico slams his axe head down with the hilt sticking up to guard his left flank. Dashing forward, he draws a massive arm back and attempts to simply punch his opponent. Hoping he doesn't kill the man, Nico puts all of his speed and weight into the punch.

David tries to position his scimitar so the sharp edge faces Nico's paw, hoping Nico will hit it and draw back in pain.

[OOC]Most of the pictures of scimitars I can find just have one sharp side with the other dull, so I assume that is not a dumb move that will cause David to get hit with his own sword.[/OOC]

This is because since scimitars were curved as such, having the other side being sharpened would do much benefit.

Maxris then leaves the temple.
"I hope Sandwich is gonna be alright.... I don't even have the slightest prediction of the outcome..."
