I never saw UEFI/manufacturers blocking it. Maybe on a laptop or prebuilt system. But otherwise you are in control.

Lenovo blocked their users from installing anything that is not Windows 10 by using a RAID mode that requires a special driver for Windows that is not availiable on Linux. Also some lock Secure Boot, but that is very uncommon. I am running Arch on an ASUS Laptop with UEFI and runs perfectly, only had to disable Secure Boot

You know, unless they use a proprietary disk connector (instead of SATA/NVMe), you could just, you know, wipe the disk.

I know I have already posted, but things have changed since then, so here I go

I use Antergos(Linux) with Xfce and Compiz as it is blazing fast in speed(you all probably thought Ubuntu was fast). It is also quick to update as it is based off of Arch and uses the direct Arch repos(seriously, I have to update at least once a WEEK in my experience).
In-game, I use Viva

I linux works on virtually any device. And ubuntu or arch anywhere help with setting drivers up, but ubuntu is easier for a linux beginner.

Linux Mint Cinnamon, because Microsoft is evil and pushed me away from Windows 10
