This causes every answers you give to be valid, and will allow bots to sign up.

Spam bots be like:

Quote

"reCAPTCHA V1 IS SHUTDOWN\nDirect site owners to g.co/recaptcha/upgrade" That can't be right, it's not two words, I'm going to click the refresh button.

*Most* spam bots don't use GUI's (I think), so how would they click the refresh button?

Oh hey, apparently no, not every answer is valid. Rather: none of them are.

I told him on Twitter a couple of weeks ago, but haven't heard anything back. I don't know if someone has a more direct way of getting touch with him?

Judging by past experience, those are no more effective :/.

I've reached out to Dan via email and alerted him to the issue. Thank you for reporting it. At this point, all any of us can do is wait and see what happens next. Hopefully, a fix will be in place soon!

I've just registered with a random word - "Unsupported", and it worked.

Yeah, something changed in the last few days.

A few people have been able to get through, but it's still a dud for most users.

This is kind of off-topic, but also kind of on-topic and I didn't want to necro a post from 2 years ago so I guess this will be a good time to bring it up again.

The problem is that currently only dan200 has administrative privileges on this forum, which is the result of this, however dan200 wrote that Lyqyds administrative privileges will be restored when daily/monthly backups are in place.

Considering dan200 is putting considerably less time into ComputerCraft lately it might be the right moment to give Lyqyd his administrative rights back(And maybe even more permission on the server) so we have someone who is able to fix stuff when something like this happens.
