As far as I can tell, the mining turtle can do everything the felling turtle can do plus a lot more (with no additional crafting cost). Is there something that the felling turtle can do that the mining turtle cant?

The "felling" turtle is the only one that can harvest saplings by chopping leaf blocks.

So the digging turtle can collect flint from gravel? And also, can the felling turtle also collect sticks from dead bushes?

Basically if a player character with that tool can harvest that resource, then so can a turtle with that tool.

Though as of MC12.2, it seems any tool is suitable for harvesting saplings/flint/sticks. You still need a digging turtle for snowballs, but I can't think of any advantage to felling turtles there.
