Well, now that the rules have been lifted, do you need another judge? I can be UI judge.

Well, programs don't really require a UI, so I'm not sure how that would work out
UI and GUI aren't the same. Even if you only use print() and read() to interact with the player, you have a UI. So basically every program that is interacting with the player in any way except command line arguments has a UI.

If you win, you will be submitted for approval by Dan200 (computercraft creator) to be included in disks that will spawn in dungeon chests (this will be added to an upcoming update of CC).

This has been confirmed?

You don't have to enter to submit a program to dan200

Well, try to spread the word on the MC Forums or some social networks, not everyone who uses CC is on the CC forums

I think he meant the dungeon chests.

Is there a sort of theme to this that I'm missing?

As far as I can tell there is no theme within the OP, so I'm guessing it's just random

Does the program we submit have to be developed entirely (besides libraries) within the specified timeframe?

Count me in! :D

Also, can I submit my code through github? (It will be only one file. I just like all my projects in one place. :) )

Yes, it does. And sorry I haven't been replying often, I have been working from early-late for the past few days.

Sure, but you'll have to post your link (along with all other submissions) in either this thread, or #CCJam on irc.esper.net

I'm the judge of functionality and this is what I'll be judging on:
  • Error handling (What happens if there's a problem?)
  • Does it run? (It should at least start)
  • Does it run as it is supposed to? (It should run like you want it to)
  • Does it crash? (Do any problems make it stop?)
These are each 25% of your final score coming from me.
